[KJV]제25장

 

1.  And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.
2.  And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.
3.  And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.
4.  And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.
5.  And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.
6.  And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
7.  And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
8.  And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.
9.  And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.
10.  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
11.  Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.
12.  Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:
13.  And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.
14.  Now the name of the Israelite that was slain, even that was slain with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites.
15.  And the name of the Midianitish woman that was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head over a people, and of a chief house in Midian.
16.  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
17.  Vex the Midianites, and smite them:
18.  For they vex you with their wiles, wherewith they have beguiled you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of a prince of Midian, their sister, which was slain in the day of the plague for Peor's sake.

민수기 25장(kjv흠정역)

 

1 이스라엘이 시팀에 머무르며 백성이 모압의 딸들과 행음하기 시작하니라.

2 그들이 자기 신들에게 희생물을 드릴 때에 백성을 부르매 백성이 먹고 그들의 신들에게 절하니라.

3 이스라엘이 스스로 바알브올에게 연합하였으므로 {주}의 분노가 이스라엘을 향해 타오르니라.

4 {주}께서 모세에게 이르시되, 백성의 모든 우두머리를 붙잡아 해를 향하여 {주} 앞에 목매어 달라. 그리하면 {주}의 맹렬한 진노가 이스라엘에게서 떠나리라, 하니

5 모세가 이스라엘의 재판관들에게 이르되, 너희는 각각 바알브올에게 연합한 자기 사람들을 죽이라, 하니라.

6 ¶ 또, 보라, 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 회중의 성막 문 앞에서 울 때에 이스라엘 자손 중 한 사람이 모세의 눈앞과 온 회중의 눈앞에서 미디안 여인 하나를 데리고 자기 형제들에게로 오니라.

7 제사장 아론의 손자요, 엘르아살의 아들인 비느하스가 그것을 보고 회중 가운데서 일어나 손에 창을 들고 8 그 이스라엘 남자를 따라 장막에 들어가서 그 두 사람 곧 그 이스라엘 남자와 그 여인의 배를 꿰뚫으니 이에 재앙이 이스라엘 자손에게서 그치니라.

9 그 재앙으로 죽은 자가 이만 사천 명이더라.

10 ¶ {주}께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되,

11 제사장 아론의 손자요, 엘르아살의 아들인 비느하스가 그들 가운데서 나를 위해 열심을 내어 내 진노를 돌이켜서 이스라엘 자손에게서 떠나게 함으로써 내가 내 질투 중에 그들을 소멸시키지 아니하게 하였도다. 12 그러므로 너는 말하라. 보라, 내가 그에게 화평의 내 언약을 주나니

13 그와 그의 뒤를 이을 그의 씨가 그것 즉 영존하는 제사장 직분의 언약을 얻으리라. 그가 자기 [하나님]을 위해 열심을 내었고 이스라엘 자손을 위해 속죄하였느니라.

14 죽임을 당한 이스라엘 사람 곧 그 미디안 여인과 함께 죽임을 당한 자의 이름은 시므리인데 그는 살루의 아들이요, 시므온 족속 가운데 주요 가문의 통치자며

15 죽임을 당한 미디안 여인의 이름은 고스비인데 그녀는 수르의 딸이더라. 수르는 미디안의 주요 가문에 속한 자로서 백성을 다스리는 우두머리였더라.

16 ¶ {주}께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되,

17 미디안 족속을 괴롭게 하고 그들을 치라.

18 그들이 자기들의 계략들로 너희를 괴롭게 하고 그것들로 브올의 일에서와 미디안 통치자의 딸 곧 브올로 인한 재앙의 날에 죽임을 당한 그들의 누이 고스비의 일에서 너희를 속였느니라.

1. 이스라엘이 싯딤에 머물러 있더니 그 백성이 모압 여자들과 음행하기를 시작하니라

2. 그 여자들이 자기 신들에게 제사할 때에 이스라엘 백성을 청하매 백성이 먹고 그들의 신들에게 절하므로

3. 이스라엘이 바알브올에게 가담한지라 여호와께서 이스라엘에게 진노하시니라

4. 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 백성의 수령들을 잡아 태양을 향하여 여호와 앞에 목매어 달라 그리하면 여호와의 진노가 이스라엘에게서 떠나리라

5. 모세가 이스라엘 재판관들에게 이르되 너희는 각각 바알브올에게 가담한 사람들을 죽이라 하니라

6. 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 회막 문에서 울 때에 이스라엘 자손 한 사람이 모세와 온 회중의 눈앞에 미디안의 한 여인을 데리고 그의 형제에게로 온지라

7. 제사장 아론의 손자 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 보고 회중 가운데에서 일어나 손에 창을 들고

8. 그 이스라엘 남자를 따라 그의 막사에 들어가 이스라엘 남자와 그 여인의 배를 꿰뚫어서 두 사람을 죽이니 염병이 이스라엘 자손에게서 그쳤더라

9. 그 염병으로 죽은 자가 이만 사천 명이었더라

10. 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되

11. 제사장 아론의 손자 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 내 질투심으로 질투하여 이스라엘 자손 중에서 내 노를 돌이켜서 내 질투심으로 그들을 소멸하지 않게 하였도다

12. 그러므로 말하라 내가 그에게 내 평화의 언약을 주리니

13. 그와 그의 후손에게 영원한 제사장 직분의 언약이라 그가 그의 하나님을 위하여 질투하여 이스라엘 자손을 속죄하였음이니라

14. 죽임을 당한 이스라엘 남자 곧 미디안 여인과 함께 죽임을 당한 자의 이름은 시므리니 살루의 아들이요 시므온인의 조상의 가문 중 한 지도자이며

15. 죽임을 당한 미디안 여인의 이름은 고스비이니 수르의 딸이라 수르는 미디안 백성의 한 조상의 가문의 수령이었더라

16. 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되

17. 미디안인들을 대적하여 그들을 치라

18. 이는 그들이 속임수로 너희를 대적하되 브올의 일과 미디안 지휘관의 딸 곧 브올의 일로 염병이 일어난 날에 죽임을 당한 그들의 자매 고스비의 사건으로 너희를 유혹하였음이니라
